With no formal schooling in historical dress or sewing, let's see what we can learn. Come along with me as I use garment creation to dive both shallowly and deeply into various topics of interest through the centuries. Sometimes we'll learn about foundation garments, all of the various techniques used to give structure and shape (or not) to a garment. At other times, we'll learn about embellishments (everything from the sparkly to the frilly). All the while, we will discover new things about people from the past and hopefully make things that delight us.
